Congratulations to American Industrial Partners on its Pending Acquisition of Aker BioMarine ASA’s Feed Ingredients Business

GRAPH completed Commercial Due Diligence supporting AIP’s pending acquisition of the Feed Ingredient business from Aker BioMarine in partnership with its existing shareholders. Aker BioMarine is a Norwegian fishing and biotech company and supplier of krill - a key source of high-value nutrition to aquaculture producers ("fish farmers") of all sizes across the globe. The company owns and operates the world's leading krill-fishing fleet both in quality and quantity. Following this transaction, Aker BioMarine will consist of three business units: Consumer Health Ingredients, Emerging Businesses, and Human Health. Feed Ingredients will supply krill raw materials for its Human Health Ingredients unit.

GRAPH’s involvement leverages the firm’s experience in aquaculture and, more broadly, agriculture. The GRAPH team was led by Senior Partners Jeff Merkle and Mark Stein.
